Has anyone else had problems with for profit nursing schools?
I'm glad I'm not the only one xoemmylouox. Before I started there, i had rumors that certain instructors purposely fail you.. i didn't believe those rumors, i shot down any rumor thinking that particular student didnt put in the effort to study, and it was their own fault. Well, I learned the hard way. I'm glad I pulled out before i owe any more tuition back. I just can not believe what goes in with some schools. totally unethical and immoral.

They know most community colleges and universities have waiting lists. They hike up the prices because some people truly want to be a nurse, but they don't want to wait around 2-3 years to finally get accepted into a community college or university. They're all lovely dovey to you..as soon as you sign the loan..they treat you like dirt. Never, never, NEVER in my LIFE will i ever attend any for profit schools EVER AGAIN.

Hey love78, Congrats on almost being done with the LPN program!! :-) Do you know, if i were to get my lpn here..but move somewhere else..if other places may accept these credits at this school? or is it absolutely not.. i was so confused. Like a community college? That is cool they are moving.. i saw they are accredited through Walden University online, but they're going to be offering the BSN program right there, on campus now? Are they changing their name since they're becoming a college? Do you know.. by any chance, lol.. if i were to get my bns through here.. if i can further that with other places to become nurse practitioner or is this not accredited enough? lol... I read a lot of horror stories about post secondary education for profit schools. I read in other forums on this site, some people said you get treated like cattle, and you get bullied? Is that even true? You said you like it here..so i'm thinking it isn't true? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm looking at attending this school. Have any of you attended this school or are graduates of this school? What was your over all opinion of this? This school being a 'for profit' school kind of scares me..but i'm sort of limited..as other schools i have looked at .. public school.. have waiting lists and are full for the time being for their LPN students. Also.. i see that this school is accredited by the COE.. does this mean i can attend an LPN to RN bridge program in other states? Thanks in advance.
