  1. I don't know about Dr. Martin in Chicago since I am in California. I had a lot of difficulties with NCLEX and a friend of mine suggested a nurse practitioner who not only teaches NCLEX review, but she also does a 30-60 min of 1:1 consultation as part of the tuition. With Kaplan, I felt that I was just a number, I had questions, but there was no one that I can ask...and the 10 minutes after class, the instructor is usually swamped by students. I felt a difference immediately after I registered the course, "Ellen", the nurse practitioner called me and introduced herself as the instructor for A+ NCLEX review. This lady listened to my challenges, and made suggestions. I felt supported and felt really comfortable to ask questions. Honestly, I don't think any review out there would give a private 1-to-1 support as I have received. My suggestion is to know your needs, if you feel that you need a large QBank of questions and can study on your own, then I think (as a former student) Kaplan is the way to go. If you need some key concept review, the maybe Hurst is the way to go. However, I would call and ask how Dr. Martin's review is stuctured before you pay. Good luck to you, Rosa
