  1. I'm going to sign up for the course tonight when I get home. I want to have that course taken care of before the intense school year starts!
  2. congrats!!!!! I'm excited to meet everyone! =)
  3. I got in!!!!! I'm so excited!! I just wanted to thank everyone who has been so supportive and for those who did not get in... DON'T GIVE UP!! This is my second time applying. Good luck and congrats to those who did get in!!!! At work now but will talk more later!
  4. Just came across this forum. If I'm not accepted to any of the other schools I had applied to I will be attending LATTC for Fall 2012. It's a 2 year ADN program that allows you to take the NCLEX if all the requirements are met.
  5. i haven't heard back from pcc or msmc. my last name starts with a "t", i called their health science department yesterday and they informed me i should be finding out about pcc either today or tomorrow. i hope i get into msm first though! good luck to everyone else who is in the same boat! kit_dalkis - my webadvisor still says "complete-in review process" too. good luck and i hope we both get in!
  6. I had mine on Thursday the 7th at 8:30 am Congrats though!!
  7. For those who were accepted, can I ask when your interview was and when did you find out after your interview you were accepted. I'm still waiting =(
  8. congrats luckystar13, cheesy but you are a lucky star! =) i just checked mine and it still says " complete-in review process" . i hope i get in!! good luck to everyone else though!
  9. If you talk about a scenario you have encountered in the past maybe she wont ask you that question. Instead for my interview, she talked about what does happen from time to time, I'm assuming that's probably why she didn't give me a scenario for my interview. Hope that helps!
  10. just finished my interview! my experience was very similar to karinehy. the staff is very nice. these were a few questions i was asked. 1. why do you want to become a nurse? 2. what conflict have you came in contact with and how did you resolve the issue? 3. how have you prepared mentally, physically for this accelerated program? 4. if things do not go according to plan, how would you deal with the issue? these questions aren't exact words but you guys get the point.. within each question, they would give you feedback on your answer as far as how it relates to the program. she mentioned close to 300 students applied, about 120 of them were considered good candidates. about 80-100 got interviews. they would make their decision on may 15th and send out acceptance letters on may 18th. good luck everyone!!! hope this helps. i have my fingers crossed!!
  11. I have my Interview tomorrow at 8:30 am... time is crunching and I am getting nervous =(. I'll post about my interview tomorrow! Good luck to everyone!
  12. Thanks for the info! I'll let you know how mine goes on Thursday! Did the interview really last 10 minutes though?
  13. tbmw: My interview is set for Thursday June 7th @ 8:30 am, I'd share my interview experience but I haven't had it yet. I am nervous! Good luck on yours!!!
  14. This is my 2nd time applying. I had a low undergrad GPA and I got A's and B's on my pre recs. I also had some experience working at a womens clinic. Aside from working I did some volunteering at the hospital. Does anyone know anyone who has gotten an interview and got denied to the program?
