  1. I am an aesthetician and I have worked only with plastic surgeons for the last 9 years.I am currently working on my RN degree. I too agree that it would be a step backward to go to school for aesthetics. The laws vary from state to state as far as what you can do legally. However, as a nurse you should be able to do more than any aesthetician could. That being said I would advise you to try to get in with a plastic surgeon doing anything you can and take it from there.you do not need a skincare liscense. Hope this helps!
  2. @ lam8584 Thanks! You ROCK! Can't wait to meet you. I sent in my request to join.
  3. 200.64 total
  4. I'm in too! Congratulations everyone! Yay us!Soon someone who is good with fb should start a private group for fall days that way we can all communicate!
  5. They do give preference to certain counties I think. Good luck. We should be hearing something the end of next month! Yay!
  6. @pottersclay48 I am 38. Compared to most of the people I have met in my classes so far I would also consider myself a late bloomer! I have worked full time while completing my pre reqs and have 2 kids (5&14). I plan on working part time and doing days in the RN program (God willing!). Looking forward to starting some serious study groups if I get in! Let's all keep in touch. Anyone interested? Looking forward to working together to reach a common goal and make some life long friends too!
  7. Hi everyone! So excited to get to know some of my future classmates (fingers crossed)! Took the NAT today didn't do as well as I hoped but should be good enough. Hand delivered my application 200.64 total points hopefully enough for days.Last few terms I heard the cutoff was around 195 points so you should be"golden"! Good luck to everyone! Let's keep in touch.
