  1. The school I go to has to meet a certain amount of GED applicants they let In every year. I had a very high score so it was not a problem. My school also only requires ACT not SAT. So I took ACT and scored high. It's a 4 year school so I'm getting my BSN after being homeschooled since 4th grade. My math scores weren't high enough for college algebra bc I did not take any high school math classes so I took remedial math my first semester. Don't let any one tell you can't get in. Talk to the schools first. I am now a junior with a 3.7 GPA with no high school education whatsoever.
  2. Idk if any was had mentioned it yet but if u do decide to become an RN home health nursing is an option if your are has these type programs. My cousin did it for awhile he did have 1 year experience in hospital though
  3. My school is pretty cool about notes. We have learning resource centers with computers and printers. All printing is free and they encourage as to print everything there because we pay for it with our tuition and clinical progression fee. The rest of the university have computer labs and the same principle applies. Some of the nursing teachers even print out extra copies and bring to class in case someone forgot. I think schools should do this everywhere!
  4. If the navy nurse candidate program is anything like the army nurse candidate program you will be required to show proof that you have been excepted to a nursing school and begin nursing classes. Also can only use the scholarship for 24 months. So u must finish within 24 months.
  5. Thank you. I'm really just trying to get a foot in the door of the OR but I have time. I'm looking for something more in the actual OR for experience.
  6. I have searched around a little for information concerning OR assistants. I'm interested in becoming an CRNFA and thought maybe this would help get me in there after graduation. What is the job description and do u think in your opinion the job is suitable for school.
  7. Thank you sorry for the broad question. I was wanting information about the military sending a person to school or using tuition assistants. And you answered that Thank you

  9. I am currently applying to the ancp program and was wondering if anyone could give me information about possible getting my masters after I am stationed. How can this be done if I can be done?
