  1. Just curious if anyone is in this program, has been recently or will be trying to get in soon? What was your overall score and Teas scores? I know it's competitive and I really want to make it. At the May 20th deadline the program received 370 apps and only 56 will get in...makes me nervous already. I'm taking my last prereq this summer and will apply by the Sept 20th deadline if everything goes as planned. I will take the Teas in August before fall classes start. Thanks:)
  2. I'm going to try it. I have a week to drop for a full refund so I'm sure I will know by then if I can handle it:) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
  3. Hi everyone! I'm trying to finish up my prerequisites so I can apply to our CC nursing program in September for the spring 2013 semester. I only need A&P but I've been putting it off because it really scares me. I graduated HS almost 20 years ago and haven't had a biology or chem class since. I've done very well in all my other courses and have a high GPA since coming back to college. My school offers a combined A&P during the summer...8 weeks and I would like to know if I'm crazy to try it? I have no problem working my butt off to make it happen. My kids are older so I can really commit the time needed but I'm so worried. If I wait to take A&P in the fall then I can't apply for the nursing program until May 2013 for the fall 2013 semester. I'd appreciate any advise and thoughts! Thanks:)
