4. Ostomy bag disposal

   We bag our briefs and ostomy bags and place in the dumpster. If blood is noted then they go to the biohazard. Also if someone is in isolation ie. C-Diff it would go in the biohazard.This is standard for our statr reg.s

   I resent doing the same job and someone getting paid more for the extra letters. If you have a BSN move up in your career and get paid more--but if you are going to work beside the bed with my ASN then you should make what I make!

   The NCLEX is our boards. We take this test to gain the ability to practice nursing.If we do not pass we are unable to practice until we pass this test.

   Our LPn/LVN program can range from 10 months to almost 2 year. Then the LPN sits for boards to gain licensure. The LPN can take some fast tract programs to be a RN in a year in some cases.The enrolled does sound close.
