So on Tuesday December 30th I took the NCLEX for the third and officially last time! I will say that when I failed it the 2nd time I did the PVT and it charged my card and the trick was right because a couple hours later I received the report from the nursing commission saying that I failed. This being my third time I obviously needed to change the way I was preparing for the exam because my two other times were failures, so I decided to purchase the HURST review and it was THE BEST thing that could have done. Anyway going back to the test, I studied so hard that I mentally prepared for the test to shut off at 75 questions because in nursing school I was top of my class and I busted my butt putting in 60 hour or more in the ten days before the test. But guess what? the test did not shut off at 75 questions it kept on going and going and going all the way to 265! What got my through it was knowing that if you were getting higher level questions such as SATA your really close to passing. So my last four questions were SATAs so I wasn't sure if I got those questions right or wrong, but it did make me feel better like I was at least close. This time I walked out of the test thinking maybe a failed because I went through the whole test, but also knowing that I was close to passing! I went to my car drove home, pulled my laptop out and tried the PVT and got the "good" pop up. This morning the first day of 2015 I got my quick result........ and PASS!!!!!
