  1. Congrats mmills! :) Glad your wait is over!
  2. Check your local hospital and fire departments!! Many firefighters/medics teach cpr classes that are for health providers. Hope this helps!
  3. Thank you!! If you don't mind me asking, who are you waiting to hear from jgtdolphin?
  4. Just recieved conditional acceptance into Richmond ASN. :)
  5. Another day of waiting. While its been frustrating and time consuming these last few weeks (stalking the mailman and the message boards) I wouldn't have it any other way. :) I love that God has brought all of this far. I still don't know which campus I'll be attending but I'm sure wherever I end up it's where I'm supposed to be. Congrats to all who have been accepted and to those still waiting. Waiting is a step closer and is teaching me patience, and patience is something I will need more of in the next two years, I'm sure.
  6. I applied to both campuses. Was I only supposed to apply to one campus for consideration at both? I have received a letter of acceptance from Madison but nothing from Lawrenceburg as of yet. Thank you for replying and Congratulations!!
  7. When did you receive a letter from Lawrenceburg?
  8. I applied to both ASN and PN at Indy. I have only received an acceptance to the PN. I've heard that Indy doesnt send out alternate letters and that they pull from the PN for any open spots. This is second hand info so not sure what is actually the case.
  9. First I want to say that I am not a nurse. I haven't started my nursing education yet but will this fall. I am 38yo and have the same goals. I too want to be a CRNA, eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. :) What I can tell you about being 24 yrs old and a licensed professional, is that many times over in your life and careers you will be questioning if what you are doing is what you actually want to do. I think when you are young it's ok to question it and this is the time to do as many different things that you want to do. It becomes much harder when you are older and possibly are married or a mother, hence the reason I'm 38 and starting my nursing degree journey. You will know when you're on the right path when you aren't questioning yourself as much, or at least you'll know that what you are doing is making you happy at that moment. Hope this has helped in some small way. Good luck in all you do. :)
  10. I know what you are going through. My husbands texts me every day after he thinks the mail has come and asks if I've received a letter that day. Drives me insane. I told him he was adding to my frustration and should probably just bring me massive amounts of sushi roll and the largest bottle of wine he can find.
  11. I am waiting on a letter from Lawrence. Does anybody know if they send out alternate letters?
