  1. @katiedepaul Are you going to the orientation on Friday? I bet you will meet at least one other person looking to move to the city who wants/needs a roommate! If not, I currently live with two people I met off craigslist. We've been living together for about a year and I honestly think they are the best roommates I've ever had (I previously lived with very close friends)! I basically made a post, screened the people who responded, and then held "interviews" for the people who seemed normal and just looking for a roomie like me/who seemed like we agreed on important things such as cleaning etc. I would suggest finding an apartment together as opposed to moving into a place that someone already lives as that can sometimes feel like it's "their" apartment. I hope this helps!
  2. @Tuckella DePaul does not do interviews, which is kind of nice! I was accepted pretty quickly after sending in my application, but maybe part of that is because it's my alma mater.
  3. Congrats @katherinewerner and everyone wait listed!! That's better than nothing!! I was not accepted so I will be going to DePaul!! @jmonkeyjen I hope you get off the wait list for UIC but if not, see you in the fall!!
  4. Any hockey fans have the playoffs to keep them occupied too, go Hawks!! Good luck on finals for anyone taking them! And happy early birthday Sittenfeld!! Like everyone else, I have my fingers crossed for Friday too!
  5. @sittenfeld and @katherinerner, You're right!! They definitely have a lot on their more on their plate that's easy to forget about!!
  6. That's a shame!! You would think because they have already made their decisions they could just shoot out some quick emails!!!
  7. I think I'm going to have a heart attack any time I receive a new email from now until they notify us!!
  8. @katherinewerner That's great!! I'm not feeling quite as confident about my interview, but I guess time will tell! Just for reference I was informed there will be 7 spots for Acute-adult and 12 spots for Primary-adult!
  9. @sarasays Ditto!!!! Good luck everyone!!!!
  10. @sharmondepaul Thank you so much for all of the clarification/info!!
  11. @hi616, I believe the last interviews are the 22nd! I'm super excited/nervous for mine! I'm interested in why we don't get the whole info session like some of the other specialties. I'm also curious, did anyone who initially applied as FNP, then re-applied with a secondary specialty choice receive an interview?
  12. April 26!! The email says that the interviews will be held on Monday, April 22nd, and that final decisions will be made that week. (I guess looking back at it maybe that doesn't mean we will be notified that week!) @sara, that makes more sense, thanks so much!!
  13. For Acute Adult/Gero did anyone notice there were only two time slots and at this point about 46 participants signed up?? That seems like a lot of interviewees for only two time slots?? In any case I'm glad we'll find out the final decision by the 26th, I'm getting nervous now!!
  14. Jmonkeyjen, my email said the same thing. I think I'm going to wait to see if they contact me later today, if not I'll call to try and set a date Monday.
  15. Wooh!! I got an interview for Adult-Gero Acute Care too!! Congrats to everyone!! Such a good day!!!!!
