  1. Hi! I am working as a PCT for a children's hospital in the CVICU unit while in nursing school, and I love it! I have one more year to go, and they have strongly "hinted" multiple times that they would hire me upon graduation. I love working here, however I also need adult ICU experience before applying to a masters degree nursing program in about 4 years or so. Do you think it would be possible to work in an adult ICU full-time and at the pediatric CVICU part-time at nights? (I love night shift work. I'm weird, I guess). Anyone out there doing this: part-time and full-time work? What about full-time and full-time work? I know people who do this, but I'd like to hear more views.) I don't want to burn out, so I think part-time + full-time work would be good for me. Working at the children's hospital actually energizes me! Thanks for your expertise and input! Let me know about your experiences with this!
