I am a sophomore nursing student and I am trying to gain experience ! I have volunteered so much! My specialty is going to neonatal by the way and I know about being a neonatal PCT but is it worth it? Are there any internships that I can do? Please help!

During the summer I was wondering what I should do that is nursing related that doesn't require me to have a degree yet? By the way, next summer I will be a rising sophomore in college enrolled in nursing school. Thanks so much!

I have seen many posts on Google saying how being a neonatalogist is more beneficial because of the money. However, I pursue in becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner, what is the difference in their pay and what are the different duties do they have to perform daily? Thanks so much! I am a high school senior and i really would like to be a neonatal nurse preferably in level 1! I really would like for someone that is a neonatal nurse to help me figure out that this is the job for me because my local hospitals won't let me shadow unless it is school related. So I was wondering if there is anyone that is a neonatal nurse and can tell me what they had to do after nursing school and describe the pros and cons of the neonatal nursing career preferably your career story!
