  3. Thank you! the interview is on monday so starting to stress out a little! My presentation is on what impact does the sister in charge have on provision of newborn services - i was looking at it in terms of providing excellent care, and what I can do as a manager to ensure this is done. Do you think this is the right way to look at it??
  4. Like Gem said, you can go straight to nicu being adult trained - i work in a nnu, and lots of our nurses are adult trained. the unit will provide the training for to work in IC
  5. Hi Sunshine One of the main issues in neonatal care currently is the issue of cost-saving and how that effects care delivery - with the aim of care being 1:1 for ic, 1:2 for hd and 1:4 for sc. I had my interview for neonates almost 4 years and there was a question surrounding this - and it is even more prominant in the news at the moment. Bliss have some good publications regarding this, and also there was a recent article in the guardian (i think!).
  6. Hiya! I really need help! I have an interview on monday for a permanent band 7 post in nnu, i currently have the role as acting sister. What questions will I be asked?? - I know I will have to give a presentation, but havnt yet been given the subject thank you!
