  1. hey cloudwatcher! im currently finishing up a 5 month travel assignment in hawaii, contacted an agency who called me back with icu jobs on vi ( st croix i believe?) are you still there ? i would love more info
  2. I missed it by 5 questions. I also did poorly on the environmental cyanide posioning and on eye trauma. I bought the CEN book from the bcen website that had about 700 practice questions in it. I found this to be zero help. I can retake it in August so I may try and squeeze in a prep course somewhere, suggestions ?
  3. ICUrn4 now I feel your pain ! I did a travel assignment there for 3 months and felt like they thought I was a moron who could only take the patients that no one wanted, have been there for WEEKS or that we're just the " step downs " . The hospital was nice, the pay was decent and almost all the nurses were super cool, the patient assignment just sucked all the time .
  4. Hi there all! I'm currently in hawaii ( big island ) on a travel assignment that I started beginning of february and keep extending so now I'm here till end of July possibly longer. My hourly rate is low ( not $14 ) and you want your hourly low because it's taxed and my stipend is awesome. I found my own housing and yes things are more pricey but im making decent money. I don't think I can PM yet because I just signed up when I saw this post but my orientation rate was not any different from my regular hrly pay
