  1. Hey!!! So, when I looked online, the processing times fall under my date of application. So, then I went into Breeze to check the status of my application- no longer says pending/open for my application, BECAUUUUSEEEE TOP RIGHT CORNER IT SAID MY CA RN LICENSE NUMBER!!!!! AHHHHH. The amount of stress I was under---I'm surprised I wasn't hospitalized this past two weeks. I've had break down after break down after breakdown. Crying at work, crying at home, panic attacks on my way to work, panic attacks at work, during work, after work, before work. Now, I can BREATH EEZE (see what I did there?) :) Soooooo basically.... My application was received July 18, 2016 and I received my License September 19, 2016 !! 2 months exactly ... although felt like a century and a half. YOU GUYS WILL GET THERE TOO!!! Just make sure you're not missing anything from your paperwork.
  2. Wooh. Seems like everyone is in the same boat as I am. This whole license process is causing me more stress and anxiety than anything else is. This is my time line for now. Submitted paperwork 7/18. Check cashed 8/8. Missing education hx- sent transcripts Around 9/1 no longer any delinquencies on my account. I've been attempting to call the BON with the 916 number and have not been able to get a hold of anyone. States "too busy" and hangs up on me! I'm about to call a CA congressman or politician or a lawyer to get this situation up to par. This is ridiculous. They need to have more detailed information. I don't know if my fingerprints are even approved---- WHY is that NOT on their site so we can follow through with it? I'm so frustrated because I have a job lined up, but this is the only thing stalling me from moving out there and starting. ARE THERE ANY OTHER NUMBERS I CAN USE TO CALL AND SPEAK WITH A HUMAN BEING except the 916 number? I'm visiting Ca next week, and even though I was only going to be in S. CA, I guess I'll be making a trip up to Sacramento to figure out all this stuff. I just hope nothing is missing and that we're waiting on the "processing" of the information. >.
  3. Hi guys, Just a quick question for all the nurses in the work force already. I will be graduating with a BSN in less than a month and I am set to work for a hospital in July. I will be doing a new graduate program with the hospital, but I may be offered another nursing job in December with another company. If i start working for Company A in the summer, and get the job for Company B in the winter... am I still considered a new graduate because I have less than 1 year of experience? Or can I start Company B as a regular RN without going through new grad training because I would already be done with my new grad training with Company A by then? Please help! And let me know if you need me to clarify anything! Much appreciated
  4. Hi y'all, I am about to wrap up my first semester of nursing school in about 2 weeks and I was just wondering how you all de-stress during the semester? I've been feeling very overwhelmed and had been getting terrible head aches recently. I also feel very fatigued right after clinical- and have been taking naps very often throughout the week. Since the weather is opening up, I am planning on taking more walks outside, but I was wondering how you guys de-stressed and if you could provide any tips. Thank you!
  5. Laceybugbear- I was wondering when you submitted your complete application, and how long it took for them to get back to you.
  6. Hi everyone, I've already applied to the program, but I'm dying to hear about my application status. I've already called them 2 weeks ago, and they said they should be mailing out the letters for this week, and I'm debating whether I should call and ask them again, or if I should wait. All of your stories have been very motivational for me, and have learned a lot! I can't wait for this journey to start.
