  1. Hi Katie! I tried looking for you on facebook, but there are A LOT of Katie Spains! Feel free to look me up and then I can add you to the GEM group we've got going. Dana Woodberg
  2. Hi Genevieve! I already live in Chicago (in Lincoln Park). Will you be living in the Rush apartments? Can't wait to meet everyone! Dana
  3. I think that I am going to hold off on purchasing any equipment until after orientation. Also, you don't have to be a Rush employee to use their Employee Health. I called yesterday to verify and the woman I spoke to said to come in, no appointment necessary.
  4. You found me!
  5. Hi Anne Marie! I'm in for Fall 2012 and would definitely join your a facebook group if you create one :) My name is Dana Woodberg, if you want to look me up! I wasn't able to make it to the June tea but I will definitely try to make it to the July and/or August. I haven't heard any other info from Rush either. I know that orientation is August 27 and classes start September 10, but that is just from the Rush website. I hope to hear from you soon! Dana
  6. I apologize for the late response, @swcochran! I think that you can only send messages on this site after posting a certain number of times. Pretty sure that I don't have that capability. As for the immunizations, I think that I am going to have the titers drawn at Rush's Employee Health. They charge $25 each and there are 5 of them. Then I will know if I need boosters. I had the Tdap recently and will wait until August to get the TB-Quantiferon (they don't want us to get it any earlier than August 1). I don't need to have a physical since I had one in the last year or so. I'm sure that you could get it all done at your doctor if you need a physical though! Are you planning on going to the student/faculty tea on June 13th?
  7. @swcochran, Congratulations!! I don't know of any way of getting in touch with other people from our cohort. I was hoping to find more people here, but haven't had much luck. Maybe as the summer goes on? I wonder if we will have any events prior to orientation?? Do you know anyone who has been through the program?
  8. Hey all, I found out that I was accepted for the Fall 2012 cohort yesterday! I know that we have to mail in a response within two weeks, so hopefully you will hear if you come off of the waitlist in that time. I'll keep my fingers crossed :) Anyone else who will be starting in the fall?
