  1. Thank you so much for your input. I got the job offer this week! It's working at a really great hospital and the hours are day shift. I couldn't be happier!
  2. Hi, I'm a RN that has been out of the hospital setting for the past 3 years. I did hold a position on a med/surg floor prior to leaving the hospital and working in a clinic until now. I recently was offered an interview on a trauma/ER med/surg unit. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences they can share about their interview for a unit like this. What should I do to prepare? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Erin
  3. My name is Erin and I recently networked with the director of HR for a large health system. She just passed on my resume to the lead recruiter for L&D. I graduated with my BSN in July of 2009 and shortly thereafter I worked in med/surg for only 4 months, moved cross- country and was unfortunately unable to get back into the hospital. So for the past 2 years I have worked in the clinic setting. This is why it is so amazing that I will possibly have the opportunity to get back into the hopsital and L&D (my dream job). If anyone can give me pointers as to what to say or what may be asked during the interview process that would be a tremendous help. Such as, why do you want to be an L&D nurse and how can I get around the fact that I do not have 1 yr. of hospital experience?? Thanks!
