  1. Got my acceptance letter!!! SOOO excited. Headed up to the office now so I can turn in my response. :) Does anyone know the deadlines for anything yet? In the letter it says see the from the Program Associate Director. Where can I find that?
  2. I have a BS also, I have been working at Shands as a Transfer Center Coordinator. I also thought about the ABSN but I will have to continue to work full-time so I need it spread out too.
  3. I got my letter.... I was accepted... I spoke with a counselor and he thought I would be very competitive for the RN program this year..... I think I have come to the decision that I am going to decline this acceptance and pray for acceptance in the RN program. I hope I am making the right choice...... I feel sick just thinking about it.
  4. Thank you, Tot1234. That is very helpful. When did you find out your schedule? Was it the first day of class or was it before then? I am getting really excited. I spoke with a counselor and found out I have more points than I thought. Fingers crossed!!!
  5. Does anyone know what the nursing schedule is like? I am trying to figure out if I need to look for a new job and type of hours I should be looking at.... if I get in.
  6. Does anyone one know about the MCB2000 and lab? Previously we had to take MCB2010 and lab so this is what I have. Has it changed or are they substituting it? Also, does anyone know what the lowest number of points were accepted last year?
  7. I have applied to the LPN program but not sure if I will be applying to the RN or not. I would prefer the RN program I am just not sure if I can get in or not. I applied last year and did not get in...
  8. Of course! Good luck!
  9. The guy I talked to said we would know by March 15. I really hope I get in!
  10. Same boat here, GPA is lacking. I am missing the military and CNA points, also missing alot of points from bad grades in some of the other courses (ENC1101 ect.) Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed!
  11. Hello, I am also applying to the LPN @ SFC for 2013. I was originally planning on applying to the ASN/RN but I am just not sure I'll get in. I'm not sure I'll get in this either... Do you have any information about the LPN-RN bridge program? I heard that you have to work a year as an LPN before you can qualify for the program. I wonder what the average amount of points are for people who get accepted into this program.
  12. I am so nervous about getting the letters!! Even though I don't think I'm getting in I can't help but thinking what if.... Does anyone know what the average number of points is for those that usually get accepted? Good Luck!!
  13. This will be my first attempt at getting into the program so I am not real hopeful but fingers crossed. I am planning on taking the entrance exam tomorrow. I have been reviewing the Kaplan test book but does anyone know exactly what is on it? Does the science section count or is it just the math and reading. Thanks and good luck!
