  1. So I got a letter in the mail today asking me to sign up online at the CNO website. I didn't find any registration number mentioned in the letter though and I am wondering if it is the same number I had on my application forms??? I wanna sign up with RPNAO and I need the registration number
  2. Hello fellow nurses, I passed my CPNRE and applied for my license 2.5 weeks ago. I still haven't heard back from them! They said it's going to take 1-2 weeks. The CNO phone number is constantly busy and my call doesn't go through. Anyone else going through this in Ontario? I can't wait to get it so I can start applying for jobs.
  3. Good luck with your results. I hope you pass it. I am taking it next week, can you ladies recall any of the questions, medication or diseases/systems which were in the test?
  4. I live in Mississauga Ontario. Toronto area. I have no clue what was the passing score since from the day I got the results, I took drastic measures. Quit my job, signed up for a workshop and studying non stop for the next 2-3 months. Please send me any study questions you may have my email address is above your comment.
  5. Thank you so much for your response! What was your method of studying? Did you just do questions and go through what you didn't responded correct or you did something else? My email address is [email protected]
  6. Unfortunately I didn't pass and I started studying again in order to go take it again in the next window. Please check my thread as I need advice. Many of you passed and I am hoping you can give me some input regarding a study plan. please please please view my thread: https://allnurses.com/canada-crne-cpnre/cprne-january-february-1077835.html
  7. Very nice advice. I am taking the exam for the 3rd time and I have no room for failure this time. Would you suggest I start with the competency category that represents the highest percentage of the questions?
  8. Hello fellow nurses, I am taking the CPRNE for a 3rd time on January/February 2017 window and I am stressed more than ever! My previous 2 attempts showed big gaps and I know that my studying was poor. For that reason I signed up for a preparation workshop (64 hours) which CARE4NURSES offers to IENS in Toronto and I also stopped working for the next few months. I decided to study in a daily basis and let nothing else to destruct me from that. At this point I am overwhelmed and I do not know where to start from. I have the PN exam prep guide 3rd edition as well as a review and exam prep workbook from HCPT college, which a friend provided me with plus a lot of other nursing books which I purchased during my courses at George Brown College in order to complete the Academic pathway for IENS. I noticed that we have a few very active members in here and I would appreciate it if you give me guidance. Looking forward for your responses....
  9. that actually doesn't help me a lot! i am wondering though if the CNO can't recognize fully my degree are they going to give me some credits for the studies i had so i can get some more courses and either become RN or RPN or PSW?
  10. hello, i am so excited i found this forum and i hope that i will get lots of information. recently i moved back to toronto, canada and i am looking how to get licensed and work in my profession. i have a greek bachelorette degree of a health visitor. to those who are not familiar with this term i must say that i am licensed to work in greece and give nursing help too! here is also a useful link:http://www.healthvisitors.com/hv/25/508 a few days ago i came in contact with the college of nurses of ontario where every nurse must be registered and after i made my questions they said me that they are not familiar with the term of "health visitor" and that i have to do a credential evaluation assessment in order to find out if the courses i had are similar and enough to become a registered nurse. my question though is if i have to do this assessment or if it's not useful cause i won't ever be considered as aregistered nurse? the fees that i have to pay are a lot and i do not want to do that without at least earn a few credits and have some more courses in order tobecome a registered nurse. some of the courses i had are pediatrics, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, surgery, pharmacology, orthopedics, nursing, oncology and many others!!! i am also refering to the uk nurses cause in uk you have health visitors too and i am wondering if someone can help me! waiting for your answers, please help me! kind regards.
  11. Thank you both for the quick responce! I am just wondering if the title of my degree is a problem cause there is no "nurse" word on it! At the application though i got from CNO there is an option where you can fill in the name of your title! So i am wondering if there are professions around the world like mine for example that Canada recognizes them as nurse professions??? Its weird that here in Ontario they are not familiar with the Health Visitor term cause in UK Health Visitors are so widespead!!! I will try to add the same Topic at the UK nurses category in case they know more!
