  1. Better to go LPN THEN, RN?

    What do you guys think about becoming LPN before deciding whether or not to study to become an RN? I"m not 100% sure if I want to go into nursing. I definitely want to go into healthcare, but still contemplating the different professions like dental, dental hygiene, nursing, etc. Nursing school looks really difficult and I"m not sure if I'm cut out to be a full fledge nurse. ANyone else feeling unsure? :S

    1. Is it best to apply to a few nursing programs instead of just one, as you would college applications? 2. Would you recommend volunteering at a hospital? Does it provide insight on nursing? 3. LPN or RN? Is it recommended to do LPN first, to see if you're really cut out for the job / want to pursue RN?
