  1. I plan to start LPN in the spring. I have 1 pre-req left to complete first before starting the LPN program. I'm going to work as a CNA while in school for my LPN. So just wondering if this would be beneficial to me for work or lpn school. :)
  2. So I am almost done with my CNA class and was looking into some continuing education courses to add to my resume. EkG, PALS, ACLS, etc... Would this be beneficial to me as far as getting hired at a hospital? Or would it not really make a difference? If so which ones; are there others I should be looking into as well? Thanks for reading!
  3. I will be finishing up with cna school in about a month. Starting to look at jobs, preferably hospital, a lot of the jobs I'm seeing are unit secretaries as well as cna. Is this typical? And would it be something difficult to handle? I have experience as csp (front desk) at h&r block so I am very familiar and comfortable with secretarial duties; the only cna experience I have would be my clinicals at the hospital on med/surg unit and rehab. But I have excellent recommendation from my instructor. Honestly, how likely would I be to actually get the job.... Thanks for reading! :)
  4. Any opinions on the best CNA program in Baton Rouge, LA. Looking at OLOL, Advanced Healthcare Institute, and RPCC. I know AHCI is fast and inexpesive but that's what make me skeptical. OLOL does take longer to complete but that makes me think it's more in depth and better training and I don't know much about RPCC. Any advice helps! :) Thanks in advance!
