Thank you for your reply. What you mentioned is an old story. Nowadays, only NZ citizen is allow to go to OZ without any visa. New Zealand permanent resident do not have this benefit anymore. However, you are right! There is a Tasman Agreement which allow NZ nurse registered with OZ nursing board directly after paying the money.

Thank you for your reply. My situation is different from Ireland nurse as I have already registered in OZ. Ireland nurse comes to OZ needs registered with council, hence need to meet English requirments. But I am offically a Registered Nurse in Australia, the only thing is I live overseas.

Hi, everyone I have been NZ RN for 5 years. I endorsed my registration to Australia last year. Now I am a OZ RN. I plan to apply for visa 457 and move OZ soon, just check immigration website. there is some English requirements as follow All primary Subclass 457 visa applicants who are sponsored by a Standard Business Sponsor must demonstrate that they have English language proficiency that is equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test score of at least 5 in each of the four test components of speaking, reading, writing and listening. Prior to 14 September2009, applicants required an average test score of at least 5 across the four test components. Where the nominated occupation requires a higher level of English (equivalent to IELTS test score of more than 5 in each of the four test components) because it forms part of that occupation's registration, licensing or membership requirement, the visa applicant must have at least the standard of English language proficiency required for the grant of that registration, licence or membership. Do I have to redo IELTS for visa 457 application ? or because I have current registration, means I demonstrat my English language proficiency meets the requirement? Thanks

Actually , I like working in a central hospital. My friend told me that the USA hospital never hire a foreign nurse directly. If I have the CGFNS CERTIFICATE, I have to contact with agency to begin my immigration and find a job.That's the reason why I keep looking for a angency. but, I dont kown if it's correct?

Responsibilities: Formulate and implement nursing care plans, carry out treatment prescribed for the patients, assist doctors in procedures performing on patients, educate and provide mental support to patients and family members, supervise and guide junior nurses and students, assist in orientation of new staff, collaborate with other health care providers in all phases of patient care. Equipment Used: Pulmo-Aide Nebulizer, Water-sealed Pleural Drainage System, continuous and intermittent suction, Thermo syringe pump, Hewlett Packard Defibrillator, ECG machine, Pulse Oxymeter, Air-Viva, Manual Ventilation Bag, Volume Infusion Pump, Dynamap Vital Signs Monitoring System. I like to work in a middled city in the USA .I like states such as Massachusetts,New Hampshire,Connecticut. I dont know how to choose the type of hospital. Can you give me some advices?

By the way, if I have visascreen, what kind of company you can offer? It's defferent from non-visascreen?

I have not begin to apply the vicascreen because a friend tell me that I would waste my money if I apply it before I get the acceptable oral English scores. Should I apply the visacreen now? I'm curious about the new policy to chinese and other two courtry's nurses, but how can I do after studying hard and getting the CGFNS certificate? We have to face the fact, sometimes, I think it doesn't matter because I have to live even though I could not go to the USA. And I believe that God be with us all the time, he never treat his daughters badly! So ,nurses, let's put all nuts on our Father's hands, he will help us!He must save us!!
