  1. I just wanted some opinions from more experienced FNP. I have been working the past 6 months in a family practice. Due to the economy, there are not many options for jobs out there. I am about to start on a trial basis with an Urgent Care in the area. I would be alone in the practice. I have not done many procedures in the past 6 months, but he said initially I could shadow to get an idea of how the office works and get trained in these procedures. The head doctor said I could always call him if I had a question, but the majority of things I should be fine with. I am so torn as I really need a job, but just don't know if this is the right move. Any words of wisdom?
