  1. Thanks so much!!! :hrnsmlys:
  2. Hi..don't give up. I know exactly how you feel, I had to test twice. You can do this! What are using and how are you studying?
  3. That's the same way I felt!! It asked me the same question twice, but I didn't change my answer. Idk why it does that. Then I kept getting meds I never heard of which was about 50% of my test..I didn't do the pvt either, too chicken.
  4. Thank you...You really don't know what's gonna be on there. Just try to be calm. Don't rush through, and take your breaks. Think Maslow's, ABC's, and Nursing Process. Good luck!!!!!!! :)
  5. Hi, Thank you..Wow, we have the same materials..Though I will say that Exam Cram questions were more similar to Nclex, so I did most of my questions from there. What I did was read, read, and read. Answer questions and review rationals whether or not I got it right. If you don't know something, look it up. Someone on here also sent me a study guide, which was really helpful. I read this 2 or 3 times before taking the test...Oh, and if you're not a morning person, DON'T take it in the morning, especially if you have to drive hours before! And if you know you didn't prepare yourself and need more time, then reschedule. Good luck :)
  6. So i tested 07/13...after the exam i was sure i failed. But i got my letter today and i passed!!!! I had 205 questions both times. This second time around i studied for appx. 3 1/2 weeks. I mainly used exam cram and also bought the kaplan strategies and lacharity. I read both exam cram and kaplan front to back, but only did 3 chapters in lacharity. I also have saunders...just wanna say to anyone who didnt pass the first time:dont give up, study hard, and believe in yourself. B/c if i can do it, anyone can! Im so happy!!!:) now if i can just find a job! Lol!
  7. I just took my test and my proctor told me that I can write whatever I wanted after I started my exam...But you can't write anything before. I jotted down a little but didn't use any of it.
  8. Thank you sooo much Shar Pei!!! You're a great help! I'm going to do my best :)
  9. Hi! I'm taking the Nclex-PN for the 2nd time this afternoon and have a quick question...When assigning rooms, do HIV/Aids patients always have private rooms? Also private/cohort rooms..when cohorting (if that's even a word lol) does that just mean either the patients are in a private room or share a room with someone who has the same illness? Know this may seem stupid, but the first time I tested I had a few of these questions and just wanna make sure I understand correctly. Thanks!
  10. Thank you! :) When are you testing? How are you preparing? It's getting down to the wire for me. I'm taking it Friday...and I feel I can't study enough! There's still so much I don't know!
  11. Hello everyone! I took the NclexPN for the first time last October. I didn't prepare at all..I was stressed, out of work, and was really anxious to take the test. So after waiting months for my ATT, I scheduled my exam 2 weeks after. I didn't read, and only answered a few questions. Well, I got all 205 questions and didn't pass--not surprising at all. Soooo, I'm taking another try at it next Fri, and just have to say, I have been reading my behind off! I've also been answering 100-200 questions a day and reading all rationales regardless if I've read them before, got them wrong or right. I've been doing this for 3 1/2 weeks and now I'm not sure if that's enough. I can barely sleep or do anything else because I feel like I could be studying---like being on here now. Good Luck to everyone taking NCLEX..I have to go!
  12. I'm retesting this Summer or Fall, not sure when though. Just paid my application fees today actually. I first took the exam back in October. *Sigh* I have no idea where to start..I just ordered Kaplan strategy book and Lacharity Prioritization, Delegation&Assignment, and gonna do the Kaplan free online preps whenever I can--so hopefully that helps. I'm working on a study schedule now. How many hours do you all usually study in a day??
