  1. Hello fellow Nurses! I've been living in Houston for about 1 year now, been working various jobs in the medical center. I've gotten 2 interviews for both Ben Taub, and Memorial Herman's level 1 Trauma. I understand Ben Taub is a county Hospital, dealing with many homeless cases, with more beds as well. I also understand Memorial Herman has life flight, and the children's ED. I have worked Trauma in NYC, and Portland for many years and loved it. Where would your preference lie between the two hospitals an your reason why? Consider answering a few questions like: What are the reputation like between the two? How does the corporation treat its employees? How is each department different? Thank you all in advance for all the wonderful help you all do, and a great applause for an outstanding nursing community online (allnurses) for helping thousands of nursing reach their goals!
  2. Thanks again so much!
  3. Hey guys! I've recently moved to Houston after working in Utah as an EMT -I in the ER (or a CCT)I've been working in the medical center doing EKGs for about 8 months now and I was wondering if you guys could help me out a bit with some other job opportunities. Is there any known jobs in the Med Center that has similar job duties (IV insertion, EKGS, wound care, etc.) Another question is that I'm unsure what a PCA III's job duties are and if maybe this job would roughly fit what I'm looking for.
