  1. Thanks for the info niciki24. I saw on last spring 2011's thread that people started getting decisions as early as the end of Sept too
  2. To the people who are waitlisted: you're not doing anything wrong. I've worked in an university admissions office, so from what I know.... it just seems that you're not the ideal candidate for Drexel.. yet. They've waitlisted you guys because you're not the ideal fit for them. Drexel still has plenty of time to send out admission offers, because the program doesn't start for another 6 months. They're actually still waiting for other people to apply, but if they don't find anymore candidates they want in the upcoming months, they'll start looking at people who are waitlisted. It could take months for you to receive a decision, so I hope you have backup schools in mind and have applied to other schools. Good luck!! btw, I hope this doesn't offend any of you. I just wanted to give you guys a realistic explanation of the instability and "game" of college admissions. I've worked for the admissions committee before, and that's exactly how the wait list works..
  3. Hi! Wondering if any of you know about the following? If we pay our $500 tuition deposit and enroll with Drexel, can we back out and attend another school later? Drexel is my 2nd choice school, and I'm still waiting on UPitt's (1st choice) admission decision. I want to ensure I am in Drexel's spring class, but if by some miracle, UPitt accepts me, I will probably go there since I'm originally from Pitt. I know that I will lose the $500 if I decide to go to another school, but I'm wondering if I might get penalized any other way? Anyone run into this situation?
  4. Anyone applying? NursingCAS is so frustrating!!
  5. Hi and congrats! Can I ask when you got your acceptance letter, and when you submitted your application? I submitted two weeks ago, and just want to get a feel for how long I'm gonna be sitting on pins and needles waiting for a admission decision ahh! Thanks!
  6. Congrats all! I received my admission letter last week as well! Does anyone know on which campus our classes (and clinicals) will be held? I hope it'll only be at Fairfax and not at Prince William.
