  1. Has anyone from section 1 heard anything? I checked Moodle and email and nothing has been posted on where we are meeting the first day. Also, are we required to wear our uniforms since it's a clinical day? I was in last Friday and nothing had been posted on the bulletin board. Any word on our nursing kits? The office had said this week.
  2. We could probably do it on the weekend if that works best. I'll have him check the availability of ambulance corp building.
  3. You can register before you hand in your physical forms. Those need to be handed in with all other paperwork by August 20th. I haven't had my physical yet but will be going soon. Congrats on your acceptance!! Alyssa & Jimmy, are you available on weekdays for the CPR? Would sometime during the week of July 15 work for both of you?
  4. There was a typo in the original letter. The orientation is June 20th.
  5. Has anyone on here utilized the Childcare at BCC? I'm looking into the drop in service for the days that the kids don't have school. If you have used it, were you happy and were the hours accomodating for the nursing program?
  6. Alyssa, I just registered. I'm in section 1. Jimmy, thanks for your email address. I'll be in touch. Krissy, thank you so much for sharing your advice with us!!!!
  7. @jimmy, PM me your email address and I will let you know. We are planning for once the semester ends.
  8. It's just my luck that it would fall during my vacation. But, like you said...only a day. The date is on the bottom of the green sheet. It's June 10th. It only says save the date...the time hasn't been announced yet.
  9. I just spoke with the Health Department since there is conflicting info in the packet. One form says you need med forms done before registering and the other form says before August 20. The Health Department said we can register but need to get our med forms in as soon as we can...basically before 8/20 because they don't want us in the clinical setting without the immunizations. I am freaking because I am in Aruba (a trip booked months ago) and am supposed to fly back the day of orientation. As per the Dean orientation is mandatory so I have to change my flights and come home a day earlier.
  10. @Alyssa, I'll email you over the weekend about CPR. I haven't forgotten about you. Let's aim for after the semester. I'm slammed with finals and end of the semester projects which I'm sure you are as well.
  11. Check webadvisor!!! I'm innnnnn!!!!!
  12. Elfie - It makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only "repeat refresher". LOL!
  13. I seriously can't believe we haven't heard yet. I think I'm wearing out the refresh button from looking.
  14. I'm checking constantly as well!
  15. Rnhopeful, don't lose hope. I've heard that people have gotten in with scores as low as 79. I was actually surprised we didn't hear last week. Fingers crossed it will be this week.
