  1. Are you still in the ASN program?
  2. Congrats!! I began the ASN 2012 & so far, it is great :). Mrs. Gibbs & everyone else are very helpful & eager to teach! They put a twist in their teaching methods that'll keep you up! Lordwilling I graduate May 2014. Good luck & I wish you the best :)
  3. I use the dry erase board for diagrams. I'll draw out like the blood flow & use different colors. I'll also draw organs & use colors to see the different compartments or muscles (from inner to outer.) It is awesome for A&P :). Using it for math is also very helpful. I like the ideas of how many of you study with the dry erase board by "teaching". That is pretty neat & something I will definitely be trying out this coming semester. I love reading everyone's tips!!
  4. The ASN program itself takes four semesters, so it all depends how long you will take to complete your cores. A lot of students begin the 2 year program & take the other required cores (Micro, Probability & Statistics, etc.) for the BSN at the same time. Therefore, when they graduate, they can jump right in. Regarding the length of time it takes to reach an advisor, it is a lot easier via e-mail. I make appointments with the secretary of the Nursing Department & that way I know I have the advisor's time & attention. So far, they are pretty good to reach. Sorry you had a tough time :/. Good luck!!
  5. I had some contact with a young girl who graduated from the BSN program this year with CCGA & overall, it seemed tough, but worth the time. I think you should choose the college you feel most comfortable in. I'm a transfer student from AASU & honestly I like CCGA better. The instructors take more time to help & reach out a lot more & their classes don't have as many students as the ones in AASU did. Wish you luck in your choice
  6. Congrats!!! I hope you will have no trouble moving on & enjoying a great career !! I am new at this, but I have been accepted to the ASN program for this Fall '12 & am ready!!!
