  1. Cal BON requiring PI board exam before NCLEX?

    Hi everyone. I'm a Fil-Am studying in the Philippines (domestic program, not international) I just found out by word of mouth, so I'd like to know if this is actually starting to happen... Apparently Cal BON is requiring graduates to pass the Philippine nursing board exam before they can apply to take the NCLEX in California. Is this true at all? I intend on going back to California right after graduation...I do not wish to spend more time in the Philippines to take their board exam if I won't be working here. Please tell me as I would like some clarification. Thanks!
