  1. Does your status still say route? I am holding out hope until I see it change...
  2. CelyseRNBSN, have you had an interview yet? If so, how did it go?
  3. So sorry jackfackmasta!! It doesn't look like I am even going to get an interview. E-mailed recruiter today who said NICU and L&D were only planning on offering a very small number of internships this time. Do you have a plan B?
  4. Celyse, I have not heard anything from NICU yet either. I will let you know if I do, though.
  5. Do you have an idea how many NICU spots there are?
  6. Xandarosa, it may take them a few more days...I appled on 3/26, and my status changed to "route" just yesterday, 4/4...
  7. That means your application was sent on to the hiring manager for consideration. You should be getting an interview call or e-mail soon!! Congrats!!
  8. I applied on the 26th and overnighted my packet the same day. I also tracked mine and e-mailed to make sure they got it, but I never heard back from them. I saw under "application tips" on the Scott and White website that they have "status code explanations." My status code is still "applied" so I guess they haven't processed me yet. Anyway, crossing my fingers too.:)
  9. When did you turn in your application, celyse?
  10. NICU is my first choice...L&D is my second choice. No interview yet...
  11. You could fly to Austin or Dallas/Ft Worth. I am not familiar with the Austin airport, but it is at most 1.5 hours south of Temple. DFW is about 2.5 hours north of temple. I drove it last week and there was a lot of construction on I-35. You could also fly from DFW to Waco and then drive the last 40 minutes from Waco to Temple. Waco has flights to and from Dallas a couple times a day. If you decide to go the Waco route, leave yourself extra time as the flights are often delayed. Austin might be your best, least problematic route if you can get a direct flight from CA to there...
  12. Thanks much for the interview info! When did you get your application in, and when did they call you to schedule your interview?
