Any current or former ITT Tech students care to chime in? I'd especially like to know, if any of you have successfully went the RN to BSN route at an accredited university. Another thing, is ITT Tech nationally accredited?

Admittedly, I've been doing the same thing. I'm lead to believe the absence of success stories is telling. On the issue of transferring, I've seen others say, that the University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University will accept ITT Tech transfers. At first glance, both of these schools are appealing to me, nor are they as expensive as ITT Tech. Which is good, and affordable for me. What do you say?

I'd like for a graduate of the school in question to comment. Have you successfully transferred to a RN to BSN program?

My main concern is graduate school. I know of a few colleges, that will accept me into their RN to BSN programs. Would graduate schools not accept me, because of an unaccredited degree prior to my BSN? On second thought, I'm going to ask the schools directly; good idea.

Now let's say I graduate from ITT Tech. Afterwards, I go the RN to BSN route at an accredited university. Would graduate schools make me retake classes from ITT Tech?

I received my test results instantly. My assumption would be, that your school will do the same. However, every school has their way of doing things.

I'm a registered member on numerous forums. From personal experience, this site is their polar opposite, which is to compliment allnurses. You could say this is subjective, but there is a general consensus on ad hominems and the like. There's a higher standard to be held here and petty flame wars are frowned upon. I could get more in-depth, but I'm sure you get the gist of it. Hence, my comparison to other forums.

It should be noted, that the meaning of this phrase contradicts all of your previous statements. In that, you are in disagreement and not making general comments, as you previously said. What is it that you disagree with? Maybe, it was poor wording on your part?

i never insinuated you were "attacking" me. however, you led me to believe you had a differing opinion, because you quoted me and said things contradictory to what i said. on a side note, it's wise to refrain from quoting someone, if you're speaking generally and not directly.

A time or two, but it isn't a common occurrence, or the majority way. Why isn't it? Even though, that isn't what I said; I'll ask out of curiosity. Could you be coherent, please? I was merely making a suggestion and giving my opinion on the matter. In other words, you're mischaracterizing my post. Well, then why is someone being a nuisance to you ample enough to "dismiss a person's feelings." Let's see your line of reasoning.

In comparison to other forums, there is little to no rudeness. The standard is obviously set much higher here and the rules are strictly enforced, e.g., no flaming. Perhaps, you need thicker skin.

Was that the only question format in vocabulary? How much medical terminology was there? Let's say, that I memorized every last word in the study guide. Would that suffice to score a 90% or above? Presumably, of course. Same question with a slight twist. Was that the only question format in grammar?

I appreciate the help. Coincidentally, I purchased the 3rd Edition last night. To my knowledge, there is only four graded sections, that I'll be tested on. Being math, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. I'll be signing up for the test on Tuesday, at a nursing seminar.
