  1. Hi all, I just found this place - wow!! I found it while trying to gather more info on whether the plan I've been toying around with is a good one: I got my BA in psych last May and know now that this isn't the field for me. Nursing seems like my match for a number of reasons, so I'm considering applying to nursing programs in the fall. Given the fact I have none of the pre-reqs for the programs designed for people who are transitioning over from unrelated fields, would it be wisest to apply to undergrad programs? Both paths would take me about the same time, but I'm wondering if the undergrad programs might let me get out of some of the general writing & foreign language classes, etc. I'm specifically looking at NYU and BC. I'd love to read any advice you all can offer me. I feel a bit blinded by all the possibilities nursing has to offer - in a good way! Thanks :)
