It's nice to know that i have people out there that understand........Topper don't give up, i haven't and dont plan on it. Even when the naysayers say maybe nursing is not for you!!!! Everything will happen in time, i think you are a better person for staying strong and keep going. Sometime i self motivate but it's nice to know others are out there like me. Good luck to you i hope you passed this time. If not dont give up think of all the knowledge you already got........KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED 4U!!!!

failed pn boards 3 times what should i do?
Hi Nursing Community Nurses and Students I am new to the community and joined so i can pick up some motivation and tips! I have failed the nclex 3 times and i feel lost! When i study, i dont feel organized and i think everything is important. So i usually get overwhelmed and feel like i am getting nowhere. I also feel like i am all over the place with the studying. First two times i took the nclex i ran out of time from taking too long to answer questions, the computer never shuts off on me, i just run out of time. Panic always sets in!!! Last time i finished 265Q with one min to go. I felt a little more relaxed but kept second guessing myself. (Still didnt pass) I am a poor test taker and i am working on that right now. (HELP) I just started doing questions everyday to get comfortable with questions, something i wasn't doing before. I just kept going over content, content, content. I also time myself, if i do 100 questions i give myself 1 1/2 hours and if i do 250 i give myself about 5 hours. I welcome advice, tips and strategies......please HELP!!!!

how l passes nclex as a foreign graduate
Hi Gena, I too failed (3 times though), i do believe my problem is lack of commitment and i am a big procrastinator. I think if i had someone else to help motivate me i could do better. So i heard about this nursing community and that i could find good motivation here.So i just signed up today. We could link up by email and/ or skype to come up with a study schedule that we can stick to and review with each other maybe once or twice a week. We could also do questions in the books and go over rationales together so we can learn our strengths and weaknesses. I do better with talking things out with others, like my teachers use to say if you can talk it.... u know it!! Well at least thats what worked for me in nursing school. Please let me know if this is something you would like to do??? I apologize if i am being too forward.
