I'm going to Graham campus. I just have another Hep B shot on the 30th. Everything else has been a breeze. I don't know if it's just me...but I'm not finding anyone else thats going to be with me at the Graham campus. At least you all have eachother :-)

Went and got all my shots..to include my first hep B. How are you all doing with all the requirements? Are you turning in your Matrix Grant packet?

I'm getting my shots tomorrow too! lol. They told us that even though we had to take the science portion of the TEAS, it wouldn't count with our score. Thank goodness bc I didn't get any general science questions right except for the human health questions. I got every one of those right..lol. Graham's cut off date was the 23rd of March..and I have no clue what the acceptance score was. But they said that they didn't have a lot of people apply bc of the upfront cost of the background checks and the TEAS.

Well I still have time then :-) The first two doses are given a month apart. It's the last one that is given 6 months from the first one. So thats good!! And Congrats to you, touchick156!! Don't you feel like you've been waiting forever for an acceptance letter or what?!?

It's so funny how all the campuses are so different bc nobody in Graham got a chance to retake the test. lol. But I did get my acceptance letter today!!! So I'm really excited to get this going and relieved at the same time bc I thought that my test score wasn't good enough. The only thing that I can think about now is having the Hep B series done in time of clinicals. Bc I am getting my first shot on Monday and that puts me to be done with the series by October!!! Whats funny is that I have worked in a hospital as a CNA and they didn't require the Hep B just the PPD. But Oh well. I'll do what I can. I just hope by the time I get to clinicals, they see that I have had the first 2 shots and getting the third. Congrats!!! We definately have to keep in touch since we are in the same program but just a couple of hours away :-)

I am going to be taking it at the Graham campus this summer :-) But I am not planning on going to TWU but I am planning on getting all A's bc I have taken A&P I and II before but it was 5 years ago in Virginia Beach, Va. I am planning on going to NCTC to get my LVN and then take the LVN to RN bridge online with Excelsior (I know a lot of people that have done that route and liked it).

Wow..yeah thats too bad that they didn't accept the old test bc I have been working as a cna for a long while. They didn't take out the science portion. I have a feeling a lot of people didn't score that well on this test giving the short notice and the fact that we only had one try. I got a 65 and I'm not that happy about it. But I felt so rushed!

They didn't tell us how many people are applying. The Graham campus is really small. They really didn't tell us much about the admission process. What I do know is that they gave us less than a month to take the TEAS V and basically unless you have a lot of time, you could have only taken the test once bc they offered it on the weekends in Ft. Worth and the last day to take the test was the 23rd and not to mention it was $110! Most schools offer to take the test on campus and they only charge like $30-$50 Yes this is their first year using this test and we'll see. There were a lot of people that have been out of school for a while at my advisement session. I just know if I don't get in, I'm still taking anatomy this summer. I have taken A&P I and II before but that was over 5 years ago so I don't think it will count. Did they tell you when you would hear back from them? And how many people are they accepting? I am SO glad that I am not alone.

Oh and I find that pretty interesting bc that is above the national and program average! Just pulling my hair out over this. The suspense is killing me..lol.

Thats good that they even told you all. They gave us a month to get the test scheduled, told us we would be able to use calculators (which as im sure you have noticed..you aren't allowed) and then they didn't even tell us what was an acceptable score! I was floored. I just wish they would have told us. However they did tell us that not many people are applying so everyone has a great chance of getting in.

Hello there! Just wondering if anyone has applied to Nctc for the Lvn program in Graham? I have moved here not too long ago from Charleston, Sc. So I figured I would post something on here to try to find people :-) I took the TEAS V test on the 17th and it was surprisingly difficult. But I got my scores and I don't think that I did that terrible..lol. I called NCTC (Graham) and asked what their acceptance score was. They told me that they don't know bc this is the first time that they are using this test for acceptance...and along with that, it will differ from campus to campus. That is a stressful though for me. I like to know where I fit. Waiting until who knows how long for an answer is going to kill me! lol. What about you?
