When and how do you find out if youre accepted into either program??? And congrats on getting in!!

First COngrats on Getting in!! lol In reference to study tips.. Definitely read ahead of time to have expsure to the material that will be covered. From there it depends on your preference of flash cards/study groups. I recommend that if you use flash cards, that you make the most of them. I found that by providing an engaing question, with a self made explanation was more effective than simple memorization. Try to get yourself thinking about the application of the material and connecting it with other ideas that youve covered. In reference to study groups, be careful who you study with. Study groups can actually be very distracting, depending on the individuals. Dont be afraid to lay a foundation/structure of what is expected of every individual within the group. Overall, study as if you have to teach someone else the material. I learned that if you are able to teach it to somone else, then you have a solid idea of the material. I hope this somehow helps :)

I made a last minute decision(last semester) to pursue nursing, and I was only able to apply to UTHSC this application period. This is my number 1/only choice so im keeping my fingers crossed. If im not accepted, Im going to take the TEAS V and apply broadly for spring 2013.. Which im hoping is not the case, because I want to enjoy my summer lol

Yeah they took about 2 hours to respond but they updated it. :) This is the email that I received, "The correction has been made and a new evaluation will be sent to the school you applied to."

No changes for me either Prereq: 3.6 Science:3.5 Hesi: 93% C.T.: 880 -_-

Hey guys, so I just received my transcript evaluation and they did not give me credit for a class. It mentions that I have not taken Intro to Sociology, yet I have taken it and it is under the "EXTRA COURSES NOT USED TO SATISFY PREREQUISITES" section. Has anyone experienced this before??

Yea I was talking about the conversion score for each component of the HESI that is scaled: 0-100... BUT FORGET I said anything, I was looking at my scores on my phone and for some reason the chart was displaying the Avg. HESI scores under the conversion score column[ on the Evolve site: selecting the + next to the Admission Assessment Report] :bowingpurSorry for the confusion.. haha

Hey guys, ive been following this thread for a while and just decided to join in.. I also applied for the upcoming fall, and Im really nervous about getting in. I decided very last minute to pursue nursing and inadvertently put all my eggs in one basket. So hopefully I get in.. lol I think I now have rheumatoid arthritis cuz Ive had my fingers crossed since january.. lol By the looks of y'alls stats, this is a really competitive group. Just had one question: Are you guys posting the conversion scores?
