That's weird because last tuesday At the seminar, a student asked about the shoes and She said we could wear any tennis shoes to classes and to lab sessions BUT we have to wear all white shoes to clinicals.

At medical campus they said we can wear regular tennis shoes any color to class and the white ones for clinicals Does anyone know if it would be the same for homestead?? Are homestead students wearing the all green scrubs to class everyday?

Once you finish each section you print out the results, it does not even have your name on it, just the results and the time you spent on that section.

Thanks! So I guess group 2 has to be around the same time for the seminar (same room where orientation was held 1175) and then at 1:30 we go to the testing center.

I guess we'll just have to wear them like that for now and next time we know what size we should buy. I did not try them on but the reason I got a S size is because I didn't see much of a difference between XS/S so I just went for the small. Like you said they just run super long. What about the lab coat? Were you Able to buy the right size??

Oh Well... I did not know that I was told we couldn't try them on first, so I didn't even asked when I was there.

At medical campus orientation for FT PT students they talked about a workshop that Will help us with test taking strategies and they Will also explain a little bit more about the program I think just those who signed on the sheet (saying they would attend the workshop) were the ones who got the email. The book is Test Success: test-taking techniques for beginning nursing students. If anyone has more info on this or if I said something wrong please correct me

Yeah tell me about it!!! I bought the wrong size and they said no returns/exchanges. And the lab coat is $33 something and runs super big ugh

No it is not the same! The one they sell at the bookstore includes tape, penlight, gauze, dressings, mask, some trays with syringes and stuff needed to perform tracheostomy and other things. It does not include stethoscope. We should get it from the bookstore since it has everything we'll be using in lab.

I just got my nursing pack. Idk why they did not include it in the book list, a lot of people don't Know about it. It was $99!

Yeah they told us to wear Green top and pants for all classes (+lab coat for lab) and white top green pants for clinicals.

I think orientation for homestead campus is tomorrow!!

Well that is what the girl told me!! Anyways I'm also trying to do everything now, you never know they may say a diff thing tomorrow :/. I completed my background yesterday am received my confirmation today :) yeyy! Today I accepted my seat, cpr class sundat and have my medical appointment monday ahah. And yeah orientation will be thursday 19th!! Btw congrats on your acceptance :)

I also received my acceptance letter yesterday!!! Full time generic medical campus. :))) I am trying to get everything done by orientation, but today I went to medical campus to Pay my deposit and accept my seat and the girl told me we will have an extension until Aug 3 to submit all the docs. I won't be getting any books or uniforms until we have orientation.

Thank you for your help!!!. I just emailed them. I was reviewing everything and the problem seems to be that MDC did not include the health core course in my transcripts. :'( what a nightmare!!
