What hospital in Ga are you working at?

On my 2nd week of ADN program. The reading can be overwhelming. Have any of you guys figured a study technique that has worked for them?

I'm facing the same dilemma. I start my ASN program on Aug. 18th. The 1 one nursing class I have (Foundations) is only 7 credit hours. I had to add a Healthcare class(4 cred. hrs) and I'm still not full-time. Luckily the Health class goes towards my Bachelor.

Is anyone attending the Cochran campus for nursing?

So does each campus have a separate nursing orientation date? Mines supposedly falls on July 15(Macon Campus).

yep. I called several times and each time they said they haven't processed anyone's FA yet and they'll begin "soon."

Financial Aid has been pretty slow. I filled out my fafsa in March and it still hasn't been processed....smh.

Amen to the needed summer break...lol!!! I'd wouldn't mind taking the class during the summer, but it's not working in my favor right now. Let us know how it goes!!! :)

So I just received a letter asking if I'm interested in taking NURS 1300-Clinical Calculation for Summer 2014. Has anyone gotten this letter as well? Is anyone planning on attending?

Are these apartments with the school?

And that's what I'm afraid of.....small/rural towns...lol(being that I'm from and live in Atlanta). If the WR had housing...I'd MOST DEFINITELY stay there. I took my HESI at that campus and I liked the area. Though it is a small town, it kind of reminded me of the area I live in now.

I don't think WR offer housing...that's why I switched to Cochran. Do you know if Cochran a rural small town? Any shopping areas? Part-time job opportunities?

Anyone attending the Cochran campus? Will you be commuting or living on campus? :)

I'm looking online at the Nursing Student Handbook from Fall 2013 and it doesn't look like ASN students have to attend summer classes; however, BSN students do have a 2 summer classes. Not sure if they're changing this year.

Are you serious?!? The ASN program is year-round with no breaks?

I chose Warner Robins. Do you know if that specific campus offers housing?

I called earlier today concerning that. The lowest/average gpa for the BSN program they accepted was a 3.4. You should be fine.

That's a REALLY long time!!!!! :/

I just called. Letters should be out by the 1st week of April. For each program (ASN & BSN), they accept 30 applicants

What program are you applying for? What is you HESI score and GPA as of right now?
