Regarding the loans, is that just for the 2013-2014 school year (i.e. just the summer/May 2014 semester)? Because the program starts in May you would need to fill out a second FAFSA for the 2014-2015 school year (to cover Fall 2014 & Spring 2015), so 12500 might not be your entire loan package for the whole program. Disclaimer: i'm not a financial aid professional, but I'm working on figuring out my loans, and that's what I've come to understand.

I don't believe U of R has a 'first' bachelor's program, only the accelerated BSN (i.e. you must have a bachelor's in another field first).

Hope this doesn't break a rule...but I signed a lease this weekend at a house right by the school and there's two more available rooms, you literally can't beat the location. Message me if interested!

I'm going up this weekend to look at some rooms...all in houses in the 'white coat' neighborhood right by the school. I've had a dreadful commute to work for the past 2 years so I'm looking forward to being walking distance from the school if I find a place!

Wow, so no one will even start to hear til mid-January? Ugh. etnursing, I think you need to consider what benefits each program might offer you compared to the other. Is it equally easy for students from each program to find work? Things like that. For me, I had a great experience volunteering at Strong Memorial as an undergrad and it made me really want to continue my education at the U of R.

Loans, I suppose.... On their website, it looks like in past years they gave out about ten 10k scholarships, I believe. Don't know if that's a possibility this application cycle? Has anyone heard anything yet? I'm getting antsy!

I recently had an interview for a PMHNP program and my interviewer mentioned how they often get recruitment calls from around the country and how it is a great time to go into this field. I'm quite excited to pursue this career.

I have an interview for a psychiatric-mental health MSN program coming up. Any advice on what information I should inquire about (e.g. do you set up all the clinicals, etc.)? Thanks!

Yes, I do believe there is a second interview for the MSN. Maybe we had different interviewers because I got asked a whole bunch of questions about myself?! I hope that's not bad....

Do you mean she didn't ask any questions about you personally (e.g. why you want to be a nurse)?
