  1. So I'm 18 years old. I should first say I'm new to this site and not so sure just how to use it yet. So I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. But I have a lot of questions. As I stated, I'm 18. I didn't graduate high school nor do I have A GED. But in SC its not required that you have to have a GED or HS diploma to be a CNA. I am thinking of moving to Charleston after I get my CNA. But my real question is.. Can I make a decent living being a CNA? I might have a roommate who is also looking into becoming a CNA. But I'm very worried about living on my own. I have heard that the pay is crap & some say it is pretty decent pay. Can somebody please give me some advice ! I'm lost. Thanks soo much. :)
