  1. I have had a great experience at USA so far. I am in the emergency track. I have been lucky this semester and have two really great instructors. They are both prompt in responding to emails. Yes, some of the classes have "busy" work, but I feel like I have grown as a writer. Writing is a weakness of mine, and I feel like the exercises have helped. I am by far not the best, but feel my writing skills have improved some. I really would recommend this program. I choose the four year track because I work as well. Next semester, I am taking three classes so I hope I continue to do well. I am very pleased with the college and staff. I really hope I do not get disappointed in the future.

  8. Me too...I really need some peace of mind. Please be tomorrow. Good luck and keep me posted!
  9. I have a co worker that was accepted in the msn program and she got a regular size envelope. She did not think she got in since it was not a big packet.
  10. Oh ok...I haven't either. That does not count you out. I have heard about people getting in without any calls.
  11. Shero....I received a letter saying there was a delay with dnp applications and that they would be mailed out april 20. So they should be here Monday or Tuesday. Did you get that email? Or did anyone else?
  12. The anticipation is killing me. Hopefully the letters will be here by Monday.
  13. I have not heard anything and I have decided the same thing. I just told my husband I am pretty sure I did not get in but just need to know. I really want to though.
  14. The dnp. I wish I would have applied for both to increase my chances
  15. My overall is only a 3.0 and my nursing is right at a 3.5
  16. What is wrong with your essay. Yours was 6 pages right? I am worried. I forgot to double space. Plus your gpa is better than mine. I am sure you will be accepted!
  17. I was so excited about finding out this week. Ugh..let me know if you get anymore emails from them. I have read on here that in the past some people also get emails of intent to accept. I didnt get that one. I am worried.
  18. Did anyone get an email from usa saying letters would now be sent out april 20
  19. I applied for dnp emergency specialty. I will probably not get in either. My nursing is 3.5 and overall 3.0. How do you increase your gpa? Retake classes or take new ones?
  20. Does anyone know the number of applicants for the dnp at usa and how many are accepted
  21. Thanks guys. That makes me feel some better but then again my gpa is just average. Good luck to you guys.
  22. Wow ...if your essay was 6 pages then I defiantly did not get in. I didn't realize it needed to be so long.I wrote exactly what I wanted with one page. Oh we'll. I guess I need to retake a few of my pre reqs to get my gpa up.
  23. Keep me posted if you hear anything please and I will do the same.
