is it HIPAA violation
if its a diff diet than diabetic we put a diff letter on the other side. like for renal we put R with the pt name or if we have the same name we put the last name first letter... how do you guys label your patient food or food tray? please give us a good idea...

is it HIPAA violation
i worked at adult day care where we do catering so when we serve food...is it okay we put the patient first name on the food tray that has diabetes? instead of sticker so its easier for us to know which tray to give it to? because we have diabetic, regular and low salt etch diet...so is it a hipaa violation if we put the first name of pt instead of putting stickers?

Incident report...Whos responsible?
Hi. everyone.... i work at adult day care where we have driver that pick up patient or participant from another assisted living facility. when he was pushing the pt from the assisted facility. the pt fell from the w/c outside the facility. supervisor/nurses immed. check the pt. my concern is. do they have to write the incident report or we have to do it since it was our drivers. or both? do i still have to write an incident report even if the driver just reported to us nurses? also. once the driver push the pt outside their facilityy it no longer their responsibly and become ours? even if it was their nurses who check the pt and send them out to the hospital?
