Hi all! I'm Danielle, and I'm starting the Associate's in Midwifery program at The National College of Midwifery this summer, and am in need of two preceptors. This preceptor/student relationship is a little different than most, in that my entire academic career rests with my preceptor. Academically, I will be completing courses online, but clinically all my experience will come from my work with a teacher. There are specific requirements to be a preceptor, found here, and I also found a great article about what to expect as a preceptor here. If you are, or know someone who might be, interested in helping me, I would greatly appreciate it. I am willing to relocate from my current location (Tucson, AZ), but would prefer not to go too far! I'm very passionate about my career choice, and so ready to dive in and start learning. My Associate's should take three years of training, and I hope to move on after that to earning my Bachelor's.
