i had 4 people interview me and i only had one interviewer out of the people you listed. i think different people interview on certain days.

Well that's rude to have noy even looked at all of the apps and have picked who they wanted.I wonder how many people did they pick? It must noy have been very many because I haven't heard of at least 1 person that landed an interview.

I didn't even know that they were doing 3rd interviews until someone else on her mentioned that their friend has one scheduled.Did they tell you about this interview right after or panel or did they call you after to schedule the interview?If you don't mind me asking what were your unit preferences? Perhaps some managers request a 3rd and some don't.

No I haven't heard from them yet, they told me it would be about 2 weeks. When did you friend have their panel interview?I have not heard anything about a 3rd interview.That's interesting. I'm more nervous now that I know they have been making calls and I haven't heard anything.

Omg! 40? That sounds awesome! I wonder if they also increased the amount of panel interviews too?When is your panel? I'm also wondering if the start date of the program will be pushed back since its suppose to start Aug. 6th and they are still doing panels next week?Hopefully we will be working together soon! :)

oh yes it looked like they did, well just search in facebook ca new grad and you should find it. i have a bsn and I graduated in December too. That was very proactive of you, it does seem like they added more interviews kind of late in the game, especially if the program is starting on aug 6th. Once you can search the fb page you will see that there are others that have interviews this coming week and the following week. When is your interview? i felt like my interview went pretty well right after, but as the days go by I think of things I could have said better. I just have to wait it out i guess.

I heard that close to 1000 applicants applied total to the program, it might have been more than that at the time the application closed. @Priprezzy I say that you have a pretty good shot with 3 years of tech experience. What types of degrees does every one have ADN or BSN or MSN?

I don't know why that is but maybe they called fewer people for intials this time around.

I'm not are you a tech there? Did you schedule your panel already? It seems like everyone that gets an intial gets a panel. That seems different from previous years according to previous threads on here that I've read about the program.

Hi all,I noticed that there was no thread for the upcoming program and thought I would get one started. I have had my interview and I'm not in the waiting game. Hopefully this thread can be a place for information and support as we all await to see if we have been chosen!

That's pretty tough. I honestly would probably just take the job and try really hard to find a better one while working. Unemployment doesn't last forever and it doesn't look good to have gaps on your resume.

i think that you will be ok living in newport beach. as far as how much you take home depends on your deductibles. but i think that you will be fine for sure if you are single.

i think that you have a good shot. there seems to be a lot of jobs for experienced nurses out there.
