help picking a topic for research proposal!
I am starting my final assignment for my research module and we are doing a research proposal and i am currently stuck on choosing a topic to do. I want to look into something with regards to theatre nursing in the operating room but I am not sure what I could research with this. I wanted to look at something to do with aseptic technique and non touch technique but i don't know again what i would research in this and what question i could use to research. If anyone has an idea on what topic i could choose for this research proposal or if theatres are even a good topic to look into and to research. I would be very grateful for any help or tips. Thank you

Help with clinical placements!
I've recently started working on a ward and sometimes I'm left on my own and I don't know what to do. I feel like if I'm standing around then people are judging me and think I'm doing nothing. I feel Out of my comfort zone and I'm a very shy person anyway and I don't have much confidence so I find it hard to get involved. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with clinical placements and how to show the staff that I'm enthusiastic about working there and that I want to learn. And what do I do about being left alone all the time and if I have nothing to do what types of things should I try to do.

I don't know if nursing is for me
Originally I was going to go to medical school but that plan failed and I thought I would do nursing. There are a few nurses in my family and my aunt has just become a registered nurse. I'm only in my first year and I have had 2 placements (I'm from the uk by the way) I'm working in a ward now but I don't think I want to be nurse. It's very hard and I don't think I have that special something that nurses have. It's not my main desire to be a nurse so I don't know if that will affect anything. It's still early days and maybe I will get into it but as of right know I feel like I want to quit. But the thing is if I quit I have no idea what I will do or anything. I'm thinking things will only get harder and I just feel out of my comfort zone. I don't know what to do and no one has really given me any helpful advice. So does anyone have any suggestions?
