Thank all of you for your responses. I did have to rush to the place for the interview and could not change my clothes. The manager and director seemed very nice. One of them even asked if I just came from work before I explained. They called me a few days later and offered me a second interview. They even told me what the second interview will focus on and how I should prepare for it. I guess this is a good sign. I definitely will wear a suit this time since it will be on my day off.

Thank both of you for the responses. I work on the floor and can't leave early. I guess I will keep my clothes in my car and change them if there is enough time.

Hello, I am an experienced RN trying to find a new hospital job. I will have to go to the interview right after work. I won't have time to change my clothes. Would it be inappropriate to appear at the interview wearing scrubs? Thank you for your advice.

Congrats to all of you! Technically, I am graduating this Spring too. I just finished my last OU class last week! But I am also taking another three classes at my local community college that will end on May 23, 2014. Therefore, I can only apply for the summer graduation. Anyway, I am almost there!! I have planned a long summer vacation to reward myself. Can't wait! :) Just curious, is there anyone who wants to continue for a MSN?

I personally feel these two would be the worst combination if taken together. I remember Community Health needed a lot of work and EBP assignments and quizzes were not easy. Try to split them and take with a easier one such as Gerontology, or electives.

Are RN-BSN students allowed to register it?

Nutrition is total doable with another class. Business Communication is already full, right?

I am not sure of it. But the 4-6 pages exclude abstract page. So you can have 6 pages not 5 for the body of your paper.

I am done with the paper! I spent a lot of time trying to slim it. I feel that putting so much of the required items into only 4-6 pages is ridiculous.

BSN is ok. The syllabus says 21h over the 5 weeks.

TurtleTarvern, did you put any references on "list needed resources"? The rubric says "with supporting evidence". I'm not sure if it means just examples or citation.

I was surprised to see that the professor said in the email "You all need to step up on your professional writing. Don't write like your telling a story...". I wonder what kind of writing she is referring to. Now I feel a bit lost.

I struggled for this part too. I agree the gaps section and the more research section are kinda the same. I also don't know what to write about the progress linking QSEN and KSAs.

I got the grade back today too. So far so good. I am working on the 3rd week ICP that is so boring.

It was just like a welcome letter. Nothing substantial. You have got all the information from the BB by now. I just got all the grading back today for last week's assignments. I think I'm on the right track now.

I'm not sure what email you are talking about. The class syllabus and assignment rubric give all the information you need.

Blackboard is working now! I just copied and saved my week 2 assignments instructions in case the outage happens again.

I can't think of a better way to do it. I also did some search about my topic, which helped me with the "wording" .

I am lost too. The instruction is so vague. In KSA, it says "please write in sentence form". I am not sure the subject of the sentence should be "I", "the nurse", or what. The KSAs at QSEN website are not even in sentence form. "Copy and past what they have, and put two ideas of our own of what? or use there examples and make them our own and write two ksas? Any thoughts or ideas?" - I am thinking of using examples that are related to my topic and following the way the KSAs are worded at QSEN website. I hope I won't flunk this last nursing class.

Thank you for responding, Clevelin. I did receive the email last week with the attachment. It says the mentor needs to spend 20h over the 5 weeks with the student to discuss the project. I wonder what else the mentor needs to do.

I have not seen a thread for this class and would like to start one. For those of you who have taken this class, what did you need the mentor to exactly do for you during the 5 weeks? I have a few candidates, but I am not sure how much commitment the mentor needs to have for my project. Thank you!

Week 5's paper is even worse, which is the summary of week 3 and 4's papers. I feel that I need to play the word game and basically reword these two weeks' papers for week 5's assignment. I remember I had to do the same thing for Family Nursing, and the same family problems got repeated and repeated for like four weeks. Otherwise, I have no complains.
