  1. It is very silly but probably not worth the battle. Just wear the horrid little thing and keep it for next Halloween. Most of all, be thankful that you won't ever have to wear one at work! Congratulations on your graduation!
  2. Hi heramay, What did you hear? Just curious.
  3. Still waiting myself. I had no idea how tortuous this would be. I'm wondering if they will send out the acceptance notices bit by bit, or if they will wait awhile and then send them in bulk. Anyone know?
  4. heramay22 and jrwinney, Don't give up! I am on the waitlist from EA too. I just stopped by Admissions yesterday to try and find out when our group will be re-reviewed (I "stop by" every other week or so). Right now, they are still receiving accept/declines from the regular admissions group. They will fill those spots from the people that were put on the wait list from both EA and regular admissions. They will not say where you are on the waitlist, nor how many people are on the waitlist. The good news is that by the end of March they will know how many people are in the program and how many slots are open. I am hoping they will "trickle out" acceptances before the end of March but they wouldn't say whether they'll do this or not. Keep your fingers crossed!
  5. Hi Alexa, Vhughes, and Future Would you mind telling me about your backgrounds/past jobs, and how many prereqs you fulfilled prior to applying? I'm just trying to figure out their standard for acceptance. I am on the waitlist with Annie.
  6. Hi Annie, It's Vicki, from Human Dev. : ) I'm sorry you are waitlisted but at least I know I'm in good company. I would definitely ask your current profs for recommendations. I am doing the same. I really think the main reason we didn't get in is because we still have to finish several prereqs (at least that's what I was told). Maybe I'll see you on Tuesday!
  7. Hi again RoImDreaming, Please don't think I was being anything other than congratulatory. It is not easy to gain early acceptance and you obviously did work hard to get there. I was just wondering if you already had a strong science background, and/or if you had most or all of your prereqs fulfilled when you applied. I was told that there are over 400 people applying for 64 +/- spots in Fall 2012, so there will be plenty of people that are qualified that don't get in. At this point all I can do is cross my fingers and wait.
  8. Hi, I am waiting to hear re: regular decision for the Direct Entry RN/NP program for Fall 2012. I'm assuming this is the same as what you mention. I am currently taking classes to fulfill my prerequisites at Regis. Congrats on your early acceptance! I believe they are very, very picky for the EA people. What is your background?
