    I am sort-of new to working in Adult Foster Care so would welcome thoughts on my employer's newest game plan for a section of patients under the Group Adult Foster Care program. They have decided if we deem a patient as out of scope of practice for the program, validated by an MDS assessment, then we are to refer the patient to the Outreach Department (marketing & sales department) who will coordinate outside services for the patient. In previous positions I've had (but not AFC), I would directly refer to an ASAP so it makes me wonder if my nursing license is still safe by having a non-licensed middleman. My direct supervisor is also new to AFC so that kinda adds to my curiosity/concern. Thoughts appreciated!

    Have any LPNs worn their LPN pin to their RN pinning ceremony? If you wear the LPN pin, would you wear it on the right side so the RN pin can be pinned on the left?
