Hello. I am new to this site and to nursing in general, so I am a bit overwhelmed... I am currently getting my Masters in Clinical Psychology and I graduate in May. I have recently started to think about pursuing a degree to become either a Psychiatric NP or CNS. I think it would be best to gain some experience in the field of nursing before I embark on the application process, both to see if it is the right fit and to make myself a more appealing applicant. Can anyone recommend any ideas for how to gain such experience. I live in Los Angeles, but any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks so much!
