PN Program is a lot cheaper than BSN Program. After a year of training you are ready for work. Unlike the BSN program of 4 years training plus the internship..If you like caring and wanting to work faster then you should go for PN..but if you are only after the salary..PN's do get paid lower than RN's and I don't suggest you pursuing the program. You asked if it is hard..YES, it is! But if you like what you are doing..instead of feeling "the hard part", you'll enjoy it :) I am a BSN student before and shifted to PN. I will be graduating this year. Although we have different training's I'm sure that I can do most of the BSN's procedures..basically it's really the same..RN's and LVN/LPN just have different assigned tasks to do. GOODLUCK!
