  1. so confused about travel companies- help please

    i am a hospice nurse- 9+ years, 39 yrs nursing. i have done tons of research on travel nursing and companies. not a lot of hospice contracts around. anyway, i was quoted less than $20 an hour. including $1800 housing stipend, $250 incidentals per wk, $200 a month figured in for insurance. $500 travel allowance total to get there and home. No car. housing in that areas runs $700 at least. that is less than i take home now. is this the way it is. i am really disappointed.
